- Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir in flour to form a smooth paste. Gradually stir in milk.
- Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- Cook for 2 minutes or until thickened.
- Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice, salt, and cayenne.
Notes
Serve over fresh fried salmon patties.
